For many years, Villa Star of the Sea Boutique Resort has welcomed guests seeking boutique accommodations in a quieter, more personal experience along Costalegre Mexico's beautiful coast. Originally designed as a small, adults-only oceanfront boutique resort, Villa Star of the Sea became known for its peaceful atmosphere, spacious suites, oceanfront setting, and slower rhythm of life on Playa de Coco, minutes from the towns of Barra de Navidad, Melaque, and Cihuatlan. As travel patterns and guest preferences have evolved, we are now introducing Costalegre Living — a new long-term living concept offering select suites for seasonal and extended stays, allowing guests to experience the Costalegre not simply as visitors, but as part of everyday coastal life, with reduced pricing, reflected by long term stay, and separate from the hotel model.

Over the years, many of our guests have expressed a desire to stay longer and experience the Costalegre at a slower, more relaxed pace. As a small oceanfront boutique property with limited accommodations, our traditional reservation-to-reservation hotel resort model often left little flexibility for extended stays. In response, something new, we are now introducing a limited long-term living option through Costalegre Living on an experimental basis. This approach allows guests to enjoy a quieter and more consistent seasonal lifestyle while helping us create a more relaxed residential atmosphere during the high season. Rather than changing who we are, this is simply a natural evolution of the personalized coastal experience we have always tried to offer.
